Winter Ride: A 6-week Capstone Project for an Entrepreneurship & Design Thinking Class

In the Fall 2019 semester, I took a course at Pitt called Art of Making. The course was focused on human-centered design and design thinking. The culminating project was a 6 week long project with a group where we design, manufacture, and pitch a consumer product. Our group, named Winter Ride, wanted to solve the problem of biking in the winter months. Our final video, shown to the right was shown as a supplement to our pitch. We went through rounds of stakeholder outreach, design iterations, and a multitude of all-nighters through these 6 weeks, but I learned a ton and our product came out great!
